TwinTech Harley Custom Sports Car not Suzuki Hayabusa
This car/bike was designed and build by Dave Piontek and Jay Novak. It’s powered by a 120″ V-twin Harley Davidson engine. Power is at 120HP and weight is 1100#. See a high quality video and more at www.funcar.com. Also a Suzuki GSXR powered sports car!
It’s a Facet low pressure pump with a bypass to simulate gravity feed.
ive been wanting to see something like this for a looooong time
Hi Cofer-engineering-robotics here in Tunnel Hill GA. Runs as well as my 80cube Roadking. What kinda transaxle is that in the rear? NEAT TOY.. Makes me want to finish the CCR Tbucket frame here. I think I like it better than a Trex. Neat build.
I have always considered Harley vtwin motors as well as other vtwins to be like small block chevy motors in their performance and sound and attitude they bring to the road, but putting a vtwin into a lightweight 4 wheeled chassis? Simply awesome. Where do I sign up for one with a 5/8 scale 32 ford roadster body????
While this is really cool… A sport bike motor could easily put out at least another 40-50 horsepower and get better gas mileage. I dunno, different strokes for different folks I guess. I would have gone rear engine and Hayabusa power personally… Then again that’s what I “would do,” you actually put your money where your mouth is and did it. Good job.
Strongly resembles the Ariel Atom.
FINALLY… the Harley man’s car… awesome..
i love the sound of the harley man!!cool idea and work done!!keep it up!
That is cool.
wow awsome… what kind of tranny?? did he build it himslef?
just to be honest i think it sounds like shit just like all the other harleys load and poppy
should have used a street bike motor
i always wanted to do this but in a regular mini car it would sound awesome going down the road
that’s a sweet ride… bet it’s fun to drive.
this is actually twintech’s modern remake of the old
Morgan 3 Wheel design.
type in “Morgan 3 wheel” to see the similarity in design.
The Morgan was definitely an inspiration. But an extra wheel and an extra 80hp hasn’t hurt the concept!
dose it go in reverse? if so how did you get it to do that. and is this available comercially
Cool – high revving, sweet sound, and good gas mileage.
How much would it costs, approx, to swap out my engine from my Miata to a motorcycle engine?
I don’t recommend you do this conversion. The Miata is to heavy for a bike engine.
Been there, done that. Check out my Sport Tech at my website listed above.
Probably in excess of $20K.
Awesome sound.
you should ditch the miata and get a suzuki cappuchino. You can then add a Hayabusa engine. theres a guy on youtube with one.
This is so fucking cool. you cant beat that sound. I want one so bad now.
Is this Street leal and if so how did you register it with the DMV?
@lukzter – It’s registered as an assembled vehicle. Most states have a category for special construction vehicles, even California.
