2012 Fiat 500 Sport Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In thisvideo I give a full in depth tour of the 2012 Fiat 500 Sport, newly brought from the european market due to the new partnership of Fiat and Chrysler. The US spec car has been slightly modified including alternate bumpers, a 1.4L 4 cyl engine and 7 airbags standard, as well as other options including a Bose sound system. Similar cars in its class include the mini cooper and smart fortwo. The fiat adds some new flavor by offering a compact and sporty economy car with features such as bluetooth, folding rear seats and aa sunroof with room for 4, base price starting around 15k. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

ItaliaspeedTV – 81st Geneva Motor Show 2011: Fiat 500 Coupé Zagato
Fiat has presented a new concept on its stand in Geneva this morning, the “500 Coupé Zagato”, a collaboration with the famous Milanese design house which fuses some of its traditional design cues into the roof and C-pillar sections of the US-specification Fiat 500. Presented at the Fiat stand, the prototype was inspired by the namesake predecessor built in the 1950 by the famous Italian coachbuilder on the chassis of the 500. Yet while Zagato had then completely revamped the exterior style of the basic model, today the designers have only focused on the roof and C-pillar sections of the Fiat 500, already similar to a coupé, aiming to give it a more aggressive appeal. The new shape of the roof features the characteristic “double bubble”, the true emblem of Zagato, teaming the lowering of the car with retaining excellent interior comfort. Like many historic custom-built cars, the concept car affords the classic “2+2 seater” formula, retaining all the dimensions of the basic model: indeed, it is 355 centimetres long, 163 cm wide and 149 cm high, with a 230 centimetre wheelbase. So it is a compact car which “conceals” under the bonnet the revolutionary TwinAir 105 HP engine which maximizes the “fun to drive” of this car, while ensuring, consistently with the downsizing philosophy, excellent performance levels against a considerable reduction in fuel consumption and emission levels. To achieve this objective, the engine features a specific “turbomatching” (engine-turbocharger …

The stand will host two esseesse cars that perfectly illustrate the spirit of Abarth tuning, encapsulating substance and unassuming good looks: in accordance with brand tradition and market requirements, Abarth cars are a mix of sporty yet elegant looks and safe driving experience, yet always with sporty performance levels. The Fiat Punto Evo Abarth esseesse is in fact capable of 180 HP with truly thrilling performance levels: maximum torque of 270 Nm at 3000 rpm, top speed of 216 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. The esseesse kit for the 500C turns the scorpion-branded convertible into a genuine open-topped sports car: 160 HP, maximum torque of 230 Nm, top speed of 209 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds. The Fiat Punto Evo Abarth esseesse is exhibited with a Campovolo Grey body, named after the airfield, still operational today, that is located opposite the company’s historic headquarters in Corso Marche, Turin. This was where the young Karl Abarth used to buy paint for his cars, the very …
