Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale – Paris Motorshow 2010 – GTChannel

gtchannel.com for more car videos. This unique two-seater wears the Maserati Corse name with pride. The word itself is a guarantee of thrilling performance. The MC Stradale is the fastest, lightest and most powerful road car Maserati has ever made, the first Maserati to have a dedicated Race Mode to add to its upgraded Automatic and Sport modes, the first to boast super-light weight carbon ceramic brakes and the first road-going model to reach a top speed of 300km But consider the other name: Stradale. It means “street”. The MC Stradale is not just a “track day” hero. This is a car that offers all the road-going comfort and refinement that has made the GranTurismo the ultimate grand tourer. Maserati decided to build the MC Stradale following the success of the Trofeo race cars and the acclaimed GT4 that have propelled Maserati on to the winners’ podium at races across the world. Customers told Maserati they wanted a GranTurismo that was a sporty thoroughbred as well as a grand tourer. The new model is lighter and faster than the GranTurismo S on which it is based and offers pin-sharp handling. It is 110kg lighter and has more power – 10 horsepower – and more torque – 20Nm. Advanced electronics slash gear-shift times to just 60 milliseconds and, for the first time, drivers can use sequential downshifting. The more muscular design means the MC Stradale produces more aerodynamic downforce without producing more drag and generates more power without using more fuel. All these

DEA and Police seizing exotic cars worth millions

About a month ago on my way to work I came across something which looked like it was from the movies. There was a warehouse full of exotic and muscle cars being seized by the DEA and US Marshalls. All the cars combined are worth upwards of 4 million dollars. Some of the exotics which were seized which weren’t in the video included a Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster, Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR, Diablo Roadster, and a Rolls Royce Drophead which you can slightly see at one point. Checkout all the cars in the video as most of them are heavily modified. This was one incredible collection! Enjoy!

Honda HSV 500 horsepower 290 pound-feet of torque

Honda seems to start playing with the super sports car, the evidence after the Honda NSX is now launching its new product the Honda HSV 10 GT. The design is like a super sports cars another, very sporty!! If you are a fan of Ferrari or Lamborghini, you definitely will like as well with this car. The engine was also given a very powerful energy-based V8. Developed in parallel with the outgoing NSX race car in Japan’s Super GT touring car series, the new Honda race car has been approved for competition use next year–apparently the Super GT regulations have a loophole allowing an automaker to campaign a car in the series that’s “production feasible” but not in production–and we now have all the official details. Renamed the HSV-10 GT (Honda Sports Velocity), Honda’s new race car is packing a 3.4-liter V-8 engine developing more than 500 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent rearward via a Ricardo sequential manual gearbox that will also be adopted by Nissan’s and Toyota’s race cars in the series and the whole thing weighs in at just 2400 pounds.
